Eutron retraces the streets of the Crespi d'Adda workers' village
A journey through textiles and electronics, between past and future.
The guided tour of the workers' village of Crespi d'Adda - a cultural jewel and UNESCO heritage site - was an opportunity to reconnect Eutron to its historical roots: the world of looms and winders.
On a beautiful morning, our team retraced the streets and the history of the village, an advanced model of business and social organization of the late 19th century. The founders, Cristoforo Crespi and his son Silvio, are still considered pioneers of Italian entrepreneurship and corporate welfare, for the attention they have dedicated to the well-being of workers, environmental impact and social progress.
It was evocative to share this experience, seeing today the convergence in Eutron tradition and progress in the encounter between textile machines and modern electronic technologies.
